The Process
The time spent preparing a kitchen is one of the most important parts of the project. This is were the doors are removed and brought to our studio to work on later, the rest of the kitchen is then covered and protected, floors, counters, walls ...
The cabinets must then be cleaned, degreased and then lightly sanded to create a surface for a better bond.
We are now ready to prime and paint the cabinet boxes. This usually consists of one coat of primer and 2 coats of paint. If you are having a glazed finish applied to your cabinets then this is now done in the desired color. After this we apply 2 coats of top coat and clean up the space and the work in your home is done. If no glaze is desired than after the paint steps the topcoat is applied and again we clean up the space and move on to the doors.
At the studio the same process that was done in your home is now repeated on your doors.
The doors are packed up and then returned to your home and put back in place.
In just a few short weeks you have created a transformation and have a kitchen that looks like new.
